USCIS

On May 4, 2016, USCIS published a notice of proposed rulemaking in the Federal Register inviting public comment, for 60 days, on the proposed U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Fee Schedule.

This short 60 day window will close on July 5, 2016.  USCIS has full control to adjust its IEFA fees at a level which they deem necessary to recover all of the costs their services provide.

In order to submit a comment, you must follow the instructions given in the notice.  After the 60-day period, USCIS will address the comments and publish their final rule in the Federal Register.
