The Miami New Times recently discharged a piece of writing speaking in reference to the problems that a lot of immigrants are presently facing at the ICE centre in Miramar, FL. Immigrants come back from all areas of South Florida to the present government facility to see in with their parole officer and be aware of their immigration issues with the right staff.
A long line of immigrants’ forms during predawn hours each morning outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs officials location in Miramar, and once per week, a minimal cluster of activists hand out coffee, water, and needed items to them.
On the early morning in February 2018 Laurie Woodward Garcia (an activist serving the immigrants with water and supplies) detected a tow-truck drive round the rather little parking-lot of the Miramar facility.
This tow-truck was searching for cars that were illegally parked. The parking lot wasn’t designed to cater to many people’s vehicles at one time, however, the town officers don’t care. Once the person found the cars that were illegally parked, rather than writing them a warning he hitched the cars to the rear of the truck and started to drive off. This had individuals leap out of line in horror making an attempt to chase in pursuit of their cars.
Instead of writing a warning, he would cut the price to give back the automobile if the immigrants paid him cash to release the automobile at the location it was stopped at. He was harassing the poor immigrants that are merely attempting to adjust to their duties.
